Question about Antec Sonata PS

Has anyone ever had the problem with the 12v rail not having power? I ordered an Antec Sonata case from newegg.com and after installing everything and preparing to boot for the first time, I noticed that the IDE drives weren't receiving any power but the motherboard, case fans, and LEDs all had power. To make sure it wasn't the drives (CD and HD), I removed the CD drive and installed it into another already working machine which powered the device. So after doing that, I'm assuming that something is wrong with the power supply. Is it possible for only the 12v devices to not recieve power?

Yep. It enters into the BIOS and sees and displays the memory and CPU properly but it says none of the drives are detected.

Check jumpers and cabling?

yeah.. jumpers and cables are all set correctly. Its not that they can't be picked up by the motherboard, it's that they don't spin up at all.

You didn't accidentally hook up the drives to the "fan only" molex connectors, did you? You probably didn't, but I figure it is worth asking just to rule out the simple mistakes first.
