Question about AMD Stock 2HeatPipe vs 4Heatpipe coolers

I have 3 of the AMD Stock 4heatpipe coolers for the Opteron 175+ / X2 3800+ processors, and I was looking for some more, but they seems to be getting scarcer. So, I'm looking at some alternatives. I have seen some 2heatpipes that are supposed to come stock on the Opteron 270, and wondered if anyone knows how they compare. The heatpipes look fatter than the heatpipes on the 4heatpipe variety, but I wasn't sure if that made much of a difference.

Any experiences/pointers greatly appreciated.

(Looking for a good cooler to see what I can do with this Opteron 148 I have on order, which will replace a 3000+ probably).
