A few months ago, they had some benchmarks performed under the two conditions, and there was a noticeable 3 degrees drop when air was sucked away (IMHO, it does make sense when you look at length of those fins, and the tight spacing between them; blowing into them wouldn't give you much airflow, just think about it for one moment).
