Question about Aliens

I recall one scene which a whole bunch of passengers in a ship are running terrified from an Alien. This kid falls down and an older dude with glasses helps him up. Then he gets jerked up, only to go face to face with an Alien. Question is, which Aliens movie is this from?

Edit. Definitely not the 4th one and I don't think it's the 3rd one either.
 
The first one? The first one was called Alien, there was only one large inhabitant. In two there were bunch properly titled aliens.
 
Was it the first one? I thought the first one began with the cargo ship recieving a distress call from a planet?

whcih one is when they went to this planet(like a colony), and everyone was dead?
 
That wasn't in any of the Alien series of movies.

The first one is on a deep-space cargo ship. All adults, no kids.

Second one is on a colony world, one kid, no one with glasses.

Third one is on a prison world, no kids.

Fourth one is on a deep-space medical and science ship. No kids, though Winona Ryder could probably pass for one 😛 Guy with glasses does not save her in any scene resembling what you're describing.

Are you sure you have the right alien? Big black things with wicked tails, dual mouths, drool a lot?

Alien 3 - Fun and Games on a Penal Colony
Alien 4 - Mad Profs, Genetics and some p-o'd Aliens have a get-together on a military research vessel.

That's the second movie. Series goes Alien, Aliens, Alien 3, Alien Resurrection.

Can you tell us what the alien looks like? Because these are my favourite movies, and there is no scene like that in there.
 
Well, I'm not sure whether the kid is male or female.

Okay, in more detail. I remember this from like 10 years ago.

The camera is in a spacecrafts hallway shot. Civilians are all running away from the camera, like something is chasing them. Suddenly, a little kid trips and falls. Most people just runs past the kid, but a man with glasses pauses to help the kid. However, something grabs ahold of him and he is lifted into the air. (now it gets fuzzy) I think then you see the alien brings him up to its face and sticks its little mouth in its large mouth out. You don't see what happens but you pretty much get the idea the guy got boned.

The reason I remember he has glasses is that right after the Alien does its mouth thing, the camera zooms in on the glasses. You hear this crunch and blood drips onto the glasses.
 
Damn! That's the alien from the Alien +_ ALiens.... movies, but I don't remember that scene either. I haven't seen them recently though, so my memory is not too good.
Was the guy with glasses black? If he was it might have been the Third one, but maybe you mistook a young looking guy for a kid.........

Edit: Hell, now I'm not even too sure about that. I think he wore glasses, but now I'm not sure.....Crap
(I forget his name. He had the TV show where he was a garbage man...)

Hmm... you MIGHT be talking about the very end of Alien 3. That came out in 1992, so the time fits. There were no kids in it, though. If the people were bald, then it would fit for sure. Otherwise someone ripped off Giger's design.

Hmm... you MIGHT be talking about the very end of Alien 3. That came out in 1992, so the time fits. There were no kids in it, though. If the people were bald, then it would fit for sure. Otherwise someone ripped off Giger's design.

I thought Aliens 3 ended with Weaver jumping into the fire? Or are you referring to the part where the prisoners are all running away from the dog-alien (runner?)?

Well, that's the very, very end. One of the near end sequences is the prisoners running, so yeah that's what I was referring to. I also think it's the only time in the whole franchise you see an Alien-POV shot besides the queen and Newt at the end of Aliens.
 
In Aliens, the only one with a kid, Newt does trip and fall through a grating. I also seem to remember Burke (Paul Reiser) getting killed in a manner similar to what you describe, but I don't remember if he had glasses. Maybe you are combining the scenes together.
 
Could be right, TheBDB, the scenes do come fairly close together though in the opposite order, and no one in Aliens has glasses. The shot is a tracking shot as well, the camera running behind them.

Ah, fvck it, just go rent the quadrilogy and watch them all! The first two are utter classics and should be seen anyway.
 
Hm, might be, it was 10+ years ago. Aliens (the monsters) were the first scary monster movie I saw. I think these kids made me watch one of those movies when I was 7. Maybe the trauma caused me to imagine things. Hm, it still would be a good scene.
