Quick question but United's phone system SUCKS.

Ok, so an employer sent me an email about a week ago saying that they bought my ticket. The email included the flight number and time but that's it.

Is that enough?

How does one fly?

Do I just show up and I'm in the computer system and I give them my driver's liscence? Do I not need any paper work, a confirmation number or the like?

Help!

The paperwork should have included a confirmation number. If you don't have that call your comany's travel agent and get the conf number. That's all you need.

There is no confirmation number, the company is too small to use a travel agent and I'm flying on Monday. ack!

Then show your ID. You're in the system. Relax.

If you know who made the rez call them and see if you can get the conf number. it'll make things a little easier. Otherwise you should still be able to use your ID to check in.

Thanks for the quick response! That's why I like AT, haven't been on here for about a year but I knew I could come and get an answer to any question in the world. Thanks :)

just need your photo ID
if you have a credit card you can do the self check in, otherwise stand in the normal check in line and they'll look you up by your name

When we fly, we show up at the airport with a drivers license/passport and confirmation email with everything on it.
Thats it. no more paper tickets. makes things a lot easier. Then you just "sign in" and go to the gate.

I just show up with my drivers license and/or the credit card used to book the ticket. Nothing else is needed.
