Question about AIO Liquid Cooling Kits

I understand with a regular, custom liquid cooling setup that one must drain the loop every so often. Is that necessary with the AIO kits from Corsair and the upcoming Swiftech? OR are they basically a mount of forget like air cooling?

It's a closed loop and sealed, so the liquid cannot be easily removed/refilled

Well, the new offering from Swiftech is expandable... was not sure if the same thing applied to it or not.

If you expand it, you'll have to drain the liquid and replace with your own.
