question about adjusting a motorcycle clutch

When adjusting the throw out bearing on a motorcycle clutch, do you set it so the bearing breaks contact with the clutch cover when the clutch is engaged? That would seem best since the bearing only needs to spin when disengaging the clutch.

Thanks for the link, I may register even though I was just looking for a quick answer. I know plenty of the members here ride and hoped some might be online and know about this.
