Question Question about adding memory to PC

For my current PC I have 2 x 8 of geil ddr4 2400 memory and have room for 2 more sticks. I want to add 2x8 but am not sure if I can add in a different brand or speed since I can't find this specific Geil memory for sale. I was looking at some Geil ddr4 3400 that I saw for sale.Thank you
The MB is

ASRock Z370M Pro4 LGA 1151

If I were you, I would try to get same same timings/speed, but it doesn't need to be the same brand. Usually another 2x8GB kit is rated for DDR4 2400, same timings and voltage, you should be more safe.

What is the price difference between 2x8 and 2x16? Maybe just replace the sticks you have with 2 more so you get the capacity increase and speed increase.
