My pci-e slot on my motherboard just went out the other day, and now I have to buy a new one. I know it's the motherboard because the video card works in friends comp, and his doesn't work in mine. Everything else on the board works fine as well.
Seeing as how it's around Christmas time, my budget is really small, $70 being the most I can spend. I can't afford to upgrade my cpu, a 4400+, so I have to stick with an am2,am2+,am3 type board. I don't have it overclocked and I don't plan on overclocking until I upgrade it. I'll probably upgrade to a Athlon 2 x4 620 sometime after the holidays and I do plan on ocing it.
What I want to know is, do I really need ACC because I can find a few SB700 boards in my price range.
Any help will be appreciated.
