Question about AA (Anti Aliasing)

What is the difference between x2 AA and x2Q AA, I assume that Q is for quality? What difference does it make?
 
2xQ is Quincunx AA. It takes two multi-samples like 2xAA but it performs a blend of 5 pixels as well which can blur the image a bit.
 
2xQ AA is sexy. The post filter made image a little softer and it looked more realistic to me.
