Question about a question on a test

Had one of these on the final:

A. A correct answer
B. A correct answer
C. None of the Above
D. All of the above.


how would you answer this? I need all of the above, but that would include none of the above. Anyone ever gotten one of these questions on a test?

Usually When they do that they put the "All of the above" above the "None of the above."

I would make the teacher clarify that question. On a test we gave last semester, the TA mistakenly reordered a question that had all of the above as the answer. Someone pointed it out to us and we wrote on the board that if you wanted the answer the A,C,D, then choose B. All of the above. It pretty much was a dead giveaway that it was the correct answer but it was necessary to clarify.

The professor would probably laugh at you for not having the common sense to figure out what he meant.

Actually, I bet it was switched. I saw that too once and remembered it as you did.
