Question about a new Gaming PC

I'm going to build a gaming PC. It's going to be for games ONLY. No downloading, no internet browsing...nothing but gaming.

Do I even need a HD for this? Maybe a larger SSD?

A HDD isn't necessary if you can fit everything on an SSD. But that depends on your budget and how much space your games take up.

Budget is about $1200-1300 w/o a monitor

OS and maybe 1 or 2 MMO's and 1 or 2 PC games

Hmmm....guess I need to see how many games I plan on having

Might get a HDD anyways

Thanks

If you're going with a single GPU, you can probably manage an i7 and lone SSD, with that budget. A tiny SSD and large HDD is commonly used for builds on a tight $800-1000 budget, because the 120ishGB SSD can be squeezed in, not because you shouldn't just have a bigger one.

Can you update your post with the answers to the questions posed here? Important things that we don't currently know is whether or not you need an OS budget included in the license, what resolution you're running at, and where you're located.
