Question about a motherboard / ram

I am getting the Asus A8N SLI Premium and had a few questions about ram selection. This is with a x2 4200+ cpu.

First: With a 2x 1gig sticks of OCZ ram .... would there be any difference between timings of 3-3-3-8 & 2-3-2-5 ? It would only be a $5 increase going to the lower timings.

Second: Can I still have 1T rate with 2x 1 gig sticks? Or would I be better off sticking with 2x 512mb sticks.

you can still have 1t with the 1gbx1gb, i would go with the lower timings, because when overclocking FSB is king, but tighter timings will make your system blazing fast.
