Just got accepted to work for Walgreens in the management trainee program. They want to put me in the intern program first so i can get a feel for the program but i already graduated. I have the option not to attend the intern program but Walgreens recommend me to go with the intern program.

Anyone here work for Walgreens?

Paid ? I'm assuming this is an office environment and not on the floor in one of their stores... if it's paid, it's all good.. considering.

floor in one of their store. Don't know how much i'm going to get yet. But i'm just happy that i got a job.

what exactly are you in training for?

i think they want you to go just so they can teach u their policies etc.
 
my brother's girlfriends was an assistant manager at walgreen's. I don't recall her having to go through any internship thing.

Cool thing about her job was after easter or halloween, she'd bring over bags and bags of candy that would have otherwise been thrown out. We have a box with about 15 pounds of chocolate and jelly beans and misc. candy. 🙂
