I was looking at a kodak cx7530 5mp digital camera and an epson stylus r300 photo printer. Are these good quality products. I have little knowledge of such components.

search "cam" in Off-Topic for a bunch of digital camera threads. Most people here seem to prefer Canon over Kodak, and would recommend a 4 MP Canon (A80/A85 etc) before a 5 MP Kodak.

I have a Canon A20 (2MP only) and S800 printer. Both are 3 years old, but together with Canon software and Canon paper, you can't tell the difference between the printed photo and photo developed from film. I am talking about pouring over 8 X 10 with magnifying glass. I don't have any experience with Kodak, but I am totally sold on the complete Canon solution.

Kodak isn't really known for their cameras, though they make good film.
Canon, Nikon, Konica Minolta and Olympus are the better digicam manufacturers, and have a wide range of cameras to suit your needs/budget.

Printers wise, I'd take a Canon over an Epson too.
