Question about a card reader (sd card)

Hi, just got a new sandisk card reader.

I know this is weird, but I've for years never had a card reader, and just used the camera cable to download the pics.

I really like how speedy it is, but as I am a perfectionist, one little thing bothers me.

Look at that pic. The little green arrow thing stays there now, card or no card. I can tell it to disconnect, but then it does not recognize the reader again until I unplug and replug it.

Does everyone's do this? If so, I'll just try to ignore it.

normal , and microsoft recommends leaving it alone. Dont be removing etc.
