Greetings,

I just recently purchased a 1998 Honda Passport SUV. I am very happy with it

However, I took out the stock casette player and speakers, and installed the following:

Receiver: Kenwood KDC-MPV5025
6" Front Speakers: Kenwood KFC-1679ie
4" Rear Speakers: Kenwood KFC-1079ie

What do you think about what I purchased? My problem is that I am looking to get an amplifier and a subwoofer, however, I'm not sure what is best and most compatible with the system I got.

I understand my receiver is 4 x 50 Watts. I want to purchase an AMP and two 10 or 12 inch subs that will be very nice and compatible with this system. I'm willing to pay about $200 or less for the amp and $100 or less for each subwoofer (give or take). If they cost more it's okay because I can probably find it for that price range on eBay.

In any case, I was looking into the following. I'm not sure if they are best suited to work with each other. I am new to car audio so please advise:

Amplifier: Kenwood KAC-8151D 1000W CLASS D MONO AMP
Subwoofers: Kenwood Excelon KFC-XW1005DB 10"

I noticed the subwoofers are "Excelon" and the amp I selected is not. Does it matter? What is the difference? Do these subwoofers work very well with the amp I selected? Can they make 100% use of the power I will have?

Please advise or make suggestions. Thanks. I prefer to choose kenwood if possible simply becuase I have been happy with it so far and all my other things are kenwood.
