Question about 9500 Pro

Is it possible to overclock ATI Radeon 9500 PRO into 9700 PRO? I know that 9500 NP with the L PCB board can overclock but can the 9500 Pro overclock into 9700 PRO? How about 9700 clock speeds? Can it overclock at all?

It can overclock, but not to a 9700 Pro. The 9500 Pro is limited by a 128-bit memory bus, instead of the 9700s 256-bit memory. Some 9500 np's were put on 9700 PCBs, which let them be modded.
 
9500 pros can oc a bit mine can easily do 324 on the core the memory is a different story as it seems if u get moddel with infinion memory u will probabaly only get to about 297 which while not to bad is still lower than others that easily reach 350.
 
I'm getting 360/310 with no tearing, artifacting, etc with stock cooling, 3.6 ns ram, radeon sapphire pro 9500 that has been flashed to a 9500 pro.
