Question about 7900gs

Does the 7900gs oc half as well as the 7900gt does? For $198 shipped @zzf, it seems like a pretty good deal, and I don't really want to spend more than that.
I'm planning on getting a samsung 940bf, and will play nfs:mw, halo, rainbow 6 and others.
Any thoughts?

Overall it seems like GeForce 7900 GS is an incredibly overclockable chip. GeForce 7900 GT wasn't a bad overclocker either, so the trend seems to have continued with GeForce 7900 GS. At these clock speeds, there should be many situations where the card actually outperforms a GeForce 7950 GT

wow, never knew that. Unfortunatly, I'm looking at the evga version and they don't include it in the ocing test. I wonder if it's somewhere around the performance of a bfg card. Thanks for that link!
