question about 460 GTX sli and molex adapter

Hey guys, thinking of adding a 2nd 460 gtx 768 for SLi, but my 650W PSU only has 2 PCI-e connectors which are obviously already on the first card. I know the card comes with the molex adapters, would it be safe/reliable to use them granted that they aren't split off onto other things? Running an i7-930 (stock speed) on a Gigabyte x58a-ud3r board with honestly little more than the video cards and harddrive, pretty average set-up. Or should I shell out for a bigger PSU...everything I've read says 650w-750w should be fine, but I'm more concerned about having to use the molex connectors. Thanks.

Use one pci-e connector per card and one molex connector per card and you should be fine.
