Question about 2405fpw and HDTV viewing

Today I ordered Adelphia digital cable, and it comes w/ a DVR box. They asked me if I wanted a regular one or an HDTV one.

Can I plug this HDTV DVR box directly into my 2405fpw (via component input) and watch the capable cable channels in HDTV? Or will I need some other hardware in order to do so?

Please clarify for me. Thanks!

Yes everything should work fine. Obviously you have to change channels using the DVR remote. You shouldn't have any resolution issues.
