Question About 2 Sound Cards

I don't really know much about sound hardware so can someone please explain the difference between the Audigy 2 Value and the Audigy 2 ZS? I rather get Splinter Cell (which comes with the Value) than Tomb Raider and Raven Shield (which come with the ZS). A sound card boosts performance, as I have seen in benchmarks (especially in HL2), by reducing CPU cycles used up, as opposed to onboard. I can get the Value for $27 cheaper. Now what's the difference between them in terms of hardware? Will there be a fps difference. Someone told me the only difference was that the ZS had a firewire port and the Value didn't. Also, I see different value for the kHz specs. What is that? It might just be an error by the site. I also read something about signal to noise ratio or something like that, it being higher on the ZS. What is that? Will it make a difference? I don't place anything at deafening volumes, but occasionally I do raise the volume quite a bit.

There really isn't much of a difference between the two. The ZS has many more non-soundcard features like FireWire, but also supposedly has a few more features in terms of sound capability too... I was researching this myself and opted for the ZS. Check this out.

Thanks for the response and the link. Meh. Doesn't have some features I would like it to have. ZS it is. Thanks.
