Q 1 is a vote to sell beer and liquors at supermarkets. If this is not legal, then how come the Shaw's near the Prudential Center can sell it?

Maybe someone is trying to revoke the ability of supermarkets to sell alcohol?

Don't know, but they have been selling it ever since they opened (about three years ago).

There is a stop and shop in Woburn that sells alcohol too. I think they get away with it by having a liquor store inside of the grocery store. Back when they weren't allowed to sell on Sundays, the metal gates came down around this section.

Here in NJ you can't buy liquor or beer in the grocery store, but there is a liquor store inside a local grocery store. I don't think you can take stuff from the liquor section into the rest of the store.
