Quest: Isn't there a method of REBOOTING WinNT without running through BIOS?

Know what I mean? I think it's possible regardless if it's in win9X or WinNT or Win2k, but instead of start/shutdown which is the standard way of rebooting your PC isn't there a couple of keystrokes, kind of like a trick, that does the same thing as a reboot, but only takes like 3 seconds???

not that you know of? then can you describe for what OS you know of there being one please? thanks.

I belive that in 9x you can hold down shift while choosing to restart, and it won't bother to completely reboot the BIOS. NT/2K doesn't support this, however.

Cant be done in NT OS's.

In 9x you pretty much restarted the windows portion, but in NT/2K there is no windows and dos portion, its just WindowsNT/2K, and thats all you can reboot.
