quake 3 was a great game, but now it is quake 4 for me. - i.e best fps multiplayer

Back "in the day" I was a Quake 2 addict playing online to all hours of the night. Being one of the first with hi-speed cable sure helped my standings! LOL ;-) QTracker was great with lots of servers always avalilable to jump into a fragfest... memories... I didn't like Q3 and then came the new business ventures, kids, life... hurrumph. Is Qtracker still used?
Cheers,

Try Call of Duty 2 for both single and multiplayer games. Believe me, you won't want to get your hands off of it once you are addicted to it.

btw: for multiplayer games, go play on Biohazard Extreme server and it's just so much fun. graphics are realistic, and details highly exquisite. Also, teamspeak is available there.

HL2, FEAR, and Call of Duty 2 are the ones I most recently I enjoyed.

I did play Riddick and enjoyed it though after I updated my Nvidia driver it gave me an OpenGL error upon load. Never played it since. You also need some major horse power to play it with all of it's glory...but what's new?

Out of my current list I enjoy Far Cry the best. I've never played Quake or HalfLife so I cant compare.
Of course the list includes
COD2
FarCry
BrothersInArms EIB

Just my 2cents

wow, I started with q3, I never really had the chance or time to play q2 since I was a busy kid back then, but q3 was a great interest for me and ofcourse awesome graphics back then. Qtracker is still used, www.qtracker.com, neat program.

i really like the unreal series. not 2003 which sucked, but the original, GOTY version and the 2004 version all rocked. F.E.A.R. is also supposed to be really really good. i haven't played it do to my crappy computer, but it sounds really good.
