Anybody on here have AT&T wireless? I just got my cell phone charged up, and I'm starting to play with the features. I was told by the guy at the AT&T store that I have 2-way messaging included with my account.

Anyhow, my question is - am I charged for receiving emails or dialtones from the web? Am I charged for sending emails from my phone?

I don't know if it connects (dials in) and so costs me a minute (or more), or if it just uses the PCS RF frequencies and so I'm not charged anything.

it depends on the plan you signed up for
look at your plan and see how many text messages you can send
you probably won't be charged for receiving any messages or tones up to 150 messages but you'll be charged for every message you send out (if it's not part of your plan)

Hmm, okay, on their website for my area it lists free 1-way or 2-way for 250 messages/month. Is "1-way" incoming and "2-way" outgoing?

I also bought this from buy.com. But if I try to buy at their website it lists all the features/bonuses I have, so I'd assume the 2-way comes with it (especially since the guy at the store said they included it). buy.com didn't list it as a feature, but then again they had the same service area for the "regional advantage" plan as their basic one. Basically, the smaller city-wide area instead of the 7-state calling area I was paying for with the regional advantage. So I don't trust buy.com's data at all. (But hey, I got my phone free ;))

I have text messaging included with my AT&T Wireless plan, but entering them (to send) is so mind-blowing painful I think I've done it just two times in six months.
