Quesiton about Rent-a-Car insurance

My ex has a rent-a-car from Enterprise. After shopping, she noticed a dent on the trunck of the car. She's positive someone hit her car while she was shopping, but there was no note left.

She has the liability insurance but is she going to have to pay more money as a result of this?

So she bought the rental insurance? In that case she just signs a form when returning the car and that's the end of it. No calls to make, no letters, no lawyers. There's a benefit to paying the high price of rental insurance.

if she got liability only it means they will only cover damages she makes to other cars/property/people. More than likely she will have to pay out of pocket or if her own car insurance covers it, they will file a claim with them.

how big is it? and is she sure it was not there before she got it? last time I rented there was all sorts of damage to the vehicle that was not on record (when I picked it up). I spent about 10 minutes listing all sorts of thing, including a big gash on the side door :Q
