Ques. about DVD on computers and Macrovision

Just wondering if I can record the output of my system on VHS. I'm using Cyberlink PowerDVD, and a Matox dualhead G400. If I connected the s-video out to a VHS recorder, would it work or would the Macrovision coding on the DVD prevent recording like it does on a stand alone DVD player?

AFAIK, all DVDs signals being sent out of your Hollywood Plus have macrovision encoding (which means recording with a compliant VCR will give you macrovision effects). Outputting DVD from a Matrox card out a TV port on the other hand, I do not know.

if the signal is treated as another monitor, then most likely you will not have macrovision problems (I don't know exactly how macrovision works though, so I could be wrong).
