aigomorla,

I just saw this pic in a response you gave to Keysplayr on choosing a new setup I5 vs I7. I didn't want to hijack that thread so I was hoping to ask you here.

Your PIC of P6T with Koolance blocks

I am also going to pull the plug on a new system (finally moving from X64-4000+/S939) and was wondering are both those waterblocks from the Koolance Kit and do they have setups for the same MB you recommended for Keys (eVGA X58 LE, Giggy X58 series, RE2).

Or did you run those blocks with a separate custom radiator/pump setup?

If you could kindly just let me know a yes or no, I will go start the homework to research the parts etc and add to my build.

Thank You

It's aigo. hes 100% against kits and I'm willing to bet that it's a custom loop.

The Motherboard block he has there is custom milled. The only Koolance part he has is the CPU 350 block. He ran it with separate loops on Feser XChanger 4x120 Radiators with Swiftech MCP355 Pumps with XSPC tops, if I remember properly. CPU/Mobo and then the GPU loop.

You're going to just need to look around for Motherboard blocks.

Thanks,

Sorry for wrong address protocol.

Guess I should have just googled the block. I hadn't thought that Koolance also might make separate parts, just familiar with their complete kits.

The main thing that caught my eye was the all-inclusive chipset block.

that setup u saw there is no long available.

it was one of my designs with a pal named bei fei.

They were on sale at jab-tech for a limited time, and got sold out fairly quick.

Bei refused to make anymore board blocks, because he got burned hard when asus kept changing small portions of there PCB.

Koolance does have Full Board blocks for most X58 boards now.

On my current system i am running a koolance Full board block:

But yeah, you wont find my p6t blocks for sale unless someone else is getting rid of them.
And even then they probably would only get rid of them if they were getting rid of the board with it.

Thanks,

I just popped over to the Koolance site and I guess I may have to change my MB build. I really like that full block, but I was settling on an ASrock Extreme.

Choices, choices....

oh usually FB blocks will only be available to mid tier boards and up.

And even then mid tier is very limited... more based on popularity.

Reason is the full board combo can cost 1/2 your board cost.

If your getting a cheap board, and u full board it, it would be kinda wasteful.

I would instead recommend u to assimilate your board block budget and upgrade tier on boards.
