Queer Gaming Problem!

I seem to have an error appear after playing Counterstrike or MOHAA.

The error is intermittent and says "application error", then I have to crash out of the game.

I have just built my new rig, is there something I've missed? setting perhaps?

Error occurs on all games therefore I think its computer/OS based, unstable? all settings standard, I don't overclock.

what os? what vid card? are your chipset and video drivers updated? have you tried latest bios for your mobo?

Good time to question your video installation when you see results like this. Also possible conflict in sound installation.

strange... instability or improper driver install.. or corrupt driver or something.

Tried running with the case open? Overheating of the mobo chipset or vid card always a possibility...

I got $#!+ like that...Windows Me, when i tried to adjust volume using KB buttons. So i installed XP, it went away.

Hmmmmm, case is definately not hot, using 4345 Nvidia drivers, are these a problem?
