I'm talking on AIM with my friend and he says Queensborough Bridge is burning.

Anybody?

Can't find anything on the usual news sources.

I'm in Japan so that precludes turning on the TV to find out.

I remember that. I got out of work early that day so I watched the smoke as I rode along the Hudson Greenway. By the time I went under the bridge, the fire was out.
