Still pretty cool though...interesting how after 9-11, everyone forgot him cheating on his wife with Judi Nathan, or all the stuff with Diallo, Louima, and other black folk wated by the gesta...I mean, NYPD 🙂

I don't know about you, but anyone worth their salt as mayor would have stood up and took charge just as he did. If the mayor of NY at the time had been Joe Schmoe, would he have gotten knighted? No. Rudy only got knighted b/c he is the most outspoken/high profile mayor in America.

You can call me a liberal all you want, but I really don't give two sh!ts about either party b/c both of them are pretty repugnant at times. Especially the Democrat's latest commercial on Elzabeth Dole and linking her to Keneth Lay. That was downright DISGUSTING on their part.

I call them as I see em. I have no problem with people who admit their bias, but people who have the bias and are afraid or want to keep their impartial facade, I have a problem with those people.

But, I have been wrong before and I have no problem admitting to it.

If you can find one conservative point of view or stance you have taken (besides the one you forced in here) in any past thread I will apologize uncondtionally.

I already got you to admit your AMD bias, this is just the next step 🙂

In all fairness (the whole Judy Nathan thing was pretty ugly), I can't see how a mayor is in any way responsible for the alleged criminal acts of policemen.
 
Goddammit, could ya'll STOP with the political flamefest that occurs in ANY THREAD you both participate in? Jeez 😀

Let's all just stay united in criticizing Giuliani's knighting...or at least turn this into a car-bashing thread...then I can join the party 🙂

It wasn't about what he DID, it was about what he DIDN'T do...he was in the opinion of the NYC black community, much too lax with the situation, and he didn't punish the officers well enough (in some cases, not at ALL :Q) whatever though...when all of that stuff happened, I really didn't care enough about it, to tell the truth...too busy doing teenage stuff 😀
