That looks like serious injuries waiting to happen. I love how they have random half-walls jutting out into the track. It reminds me of a video game.
 
One of those things I never think about, but when I randomly stumble upon it on TSN, I can't tear myself away from it. Crazy stuff.

What a terrible name for an event. I watched the video, waiting to see how a red bull crashed ice into a flag parade. :|

Well, the title of the OP is one thing - but it's not really a name of the event.

The "flag parade" was part of the final round of the season, the championship round. However, I'm not sure if they do that every race, if it's just part of the championship round, or if it's a one-off thing they did.

Red Bull Crashed Ice is the name of the sport series (Ice Cross Downhill World Championship).
