Trying to hook up a new Windows install to a TV w/ S-video in. When using the S-video connection in the BIOS, and while installing Windows, everything looks good. However, as soon as Windows boots, the screen just starts scrolling. I can hear the boot up wave file, so I know Windows is coming up.

Do I have to hook this PC up to a monitor, change some settings, then use S-video? Or can I make it work?

Thanks, I know this is a shot in the dark.

Make sure your TV out is configured to use NTSC if that's what your set is. (most in north america are) Others are PAL and SECAM.

Make sure windows refresh rate is 60Hz.
