Qucik questions regarding Dell's policy

I just purchased a Dell laptop last night with a 5% coupon and today there is a new coupon floating around that's 10% off!!

Can I call Dell and have them apply the coupon on my order? or do I have to cancel my order and reorder? Yesterday was the last day for a promotion of free printer, $100 off and a 2nd battery free.. I'd like to keep that if possible and apply the 10%. If not... I guess I have to go home and figure out which way will save me some money..

Has it occured to you that you might get a more definitive answer by calling Dell rather than trusting the often uninformed opinions you will get here?

I know that if you do not use a coupon with the order, but then find one, they will apply it after the fact. I would call them either way, I am sure they would be pleased to work something out with you.

AHEM. Its only October and I've ordered $50,000 from dell this year. A little respect here?

Give them a call and tell them to give you the 10% off instead of the 5%. Its going to be an either or on the promo, cant stack them.

If they balk, casually remind them that you have 30 days and you can ship the entire rig back to them under their total satisfaction policy or you can refuse delivery and they can take the hit selling it as a refurb.

The day after I ordered my Dell, they came out with a free monitor upgrade promotion. I called in and the only way I could apply it was to reorder. If you want the 10% off I would expect that you're going to lose the $100 off and the free printer.
