Quastion about subscriptions: Does the credit card have to be yours?

I don't own a credit card, so I can't purchase an Anandtech subscription. However, I have asked my mom if she'll pay for it with her credit card, and she said she would. Now, does the credit card information have to match my information (IE - my name, etc.) in order to have a subscription?

No, it doesn't, to my knowledge. I borrowed a family member's card to subscribe. The next day was my payday, but I didn't want to wait so I borrowed the card and paid it back the next day. 🙂

Once everything is confirmed you should be fine. Just remember to login to http://subscriber.anandtech.com. You'll get a receipt via email. Remember to save it. 🙂
