It reads almost like science fiction, I only understand the concepts in basic form. Crazy stuff. Sounds like it's a good advancement for quantum computing if they can figure out how to properly utilize it.

Honestly, I'm tired of these quantum scientists hyping up their accomplishments. We are still at least decades away to having quantum computers do anything useful. All they managed to do was increase the qubit time from 1.5 seconds to 5.5 seconds. The qubits go poof after 5.5 seconds now. Good luck solving problems in that timeframe.

Yeah as I said in the OP, I only understand some of the basic concepts of this experiment, and I'm curious how they measure or determine that these atoms have (or exist in) two time dimensions. That's one of the big ones that made me go, "wtf?" lol

It's a good preface and summary of the experiment. He explained a little more, but still kept it simple and not too technical.
