Quantum SCSI HD

Ok guys, heres the problem:

Have a 36.4 gb SCSI2 Quantum Tornado Harddrive we just got. Upon getting it all setup in the machine and in the scsi bios, Win2k Serv boots up. It detects the drive in the hardware profile, but not in my computer.

Anyone have an Atlas 10k here? When you boot up does it say Atlas or does it say anything else in the SCSI detection? This thing keeps coming up as a "Tornado" drive even though the lable says Atlas.

Kinda annoying, I haven't had much time to dink with it. Any comments appreciated.

The machine already has a Quantum 9.1 gb in it, its fine. This new one is really getting on me though.

click on atart run and type in mmc

click on console.....add remove snap-in....click on the add button....select disk management...click add button....make sure for local computer...click finish.

from there, you can select disk management in the mmc console and create your partition, make it permanent, and format the drive. once you've done that, you're good to go.
