Question Quality PSU in 2025

Back when i built my current rig, in 2011, the PSUs lacked amperage on the 12V rail, so even though i used cool master 1000W power supply, i had to add a 450W 12V auxiliary supply that lives in 5.52" bay to feed 2x 6990s.
I am building a new high end rig.Top end video card like 5090, lot of hard drives for probably close to 100TB of storage (HDs, not SSDs, so at 30W each we're talking like 150-200 watts there) . What do i need to know about power supply and which one or two do i want to buy. Ignore price for now, just educate me on requirements and reliability as well as available options.

Thanks

I am thinking

NZXT C1500 Platinum ATX 3.1 | Fully Modular Low-Noise PC Gaming Power Supply

I intend to mount it into Antec 1200 case (oldie but goodie). What do you all think?

While it's not the same product, the business practices of NZXT are reported to be so bad that I choose not give them my money. (also, google "NZXT fires") You do you.

went with corsair RM1000X. Currently using Cooler Master Silent Pro M - 1000W 80 PLUS, which has given me good service for over a decade; so hopefully corsair is not a step down.

I had a good experience with MSI MAG 1000w pcie5 psu.

Recently I upgraded to a 1300w unit, seasonic prime tx-1300. I think I will return it, lots of cool whine under load which I did not experience with the previous unit.

Corsair is usually pretty good as well. Seems like it's a lottery on the coil whine.
