Quality problems bedevil Jaguar's X-Type; two drivetrain issues cited

lol, jaguar has never been the picture of quality. My uncle had one years ago that refused to drive when it was wet or humid outside. He had it all of 4 months before he ditched it.

I don't know about the Jaguar but my stupid Lexus GS300 w/30K miles on it now has a transmission problem. Its gears are slipping like a burned out clutch.

So much for Lexus quality, at least for me.

I've heard somebody say if you buy a jag you better by two. One will always be in the shop and that way you have the other one to drive.

I had all my fluids replaced 1000 miles ago when I did my oil change unless they forgot to do it.

I'll have to check.

That's likely. My Honda Accord coupe was *certified* (100+ point checkup, everything should've been done) and they didn't replace the tranny fluid (it needed it).

You never know. The GS300 is a nice car though methinks :D
