I just bought some havaianas about two months ago.... off of ebay they were really cheap and have been great so far

Havaianas are well respected in the slipper community

If you're talking bedroom-type slippers, LL Bean makes very good ones. I actually bought mine when I was in the middle east (my feet were getting chilly walking to the latrine at night!) in Oct 01, and I've had 'em ever since.

Partially as a gag, my woman picked these up at Nordstrom. Was actually one of the few pairs available, as I have rather large feet (wear size 14 in most shoes, and she ordered 15).

Turns out they are quite comfortable, actually.
