Quality LASER Pointer

I am lookin to buy a nice quality LASER Pointer for calssrom use.

I want aporx 40-50ft of range in low indoor light.

I don't think you would have any trouble with any standard laser pen. You could get one at a store like staples and return it if it doesn't work well enough.
 
I got a green one myself; although you can actually see the green beam, it is pretty faint--don't necessarily believe the pics you see on Gizmodo. Yes there are green lasers that can put out a visible beam, but no consumer (aka FDA-approved) green laser pointer will put out a beam anywhere near as bright as those shown in the Gizmodo pics.

FWIW--the green laser does reflect very well off a green reflective surface, even in daylight; point it at a green freeway sign and you'll definitely see what I mean.
 
Better check with your school that that is ok, cos, if one of the kids gets hold of it, and shines it in his eyes, you are gonna be sued
