Quality flip flops?

I bought a pair of Gap flipflops about 8 months ago, and wear them to class several times a week. I put a lot of miles on them so to speak, but today as I walked home it broke..which makes for a lot of awkwardness.

Any pairs out there that will last me until 2010?

*bangs head against desk* I hate being an electrical engineer sometimes. I was about to recommend parts from Maxim or Analog Devices.

My Reef sandals have lasted a good three years so far. Still comfy and I wear the hell out of them in the summer.

My panama jack sandals have lasted well over 5 years.
My teva flip flops are going strong after 3.

Reefs. the squishy sole ones. i had a pair for 4+ years before they conked out (so buy a pair maybe next year 😉 )

REEFs are the answer - although, Rainbow is pretty decent too 🙂 I've got about 7 pairs 😛

Scott brand (made in Hawaii) are the longest lasting flipflops I've ever worn and I am somewhat of an expert on this subject. 😀

Rainbow Sandals

Luckily their factory is close... they have used sandals from people who have worn them 5+ years... and they're very comfortable. [edit: they don't sell the used ones, people send in their old sandals and the rainbow folks have them hanging on their walls in the shop]

Kinda pricey, but at how long I've had mine (going on 3 years now), definitely got my money's worth and more. Definitely the most comfortable sandals I've worn to date.

I really hope you're a female, what with wearing girly shoes and all. 😛

Rainbows FTW. But they'll cost ya $45 at Pac Sun. If you're willing to drive down to San Clemente, CA (should be an hour and a half from UCLA), where their factory store is, you can get them for $30 OTD.
