I have a chance to get a GF4MX (440) for a nice price... the only thing I could get for close to the same price is a Radeon 7000 (not BBA).

Is the TV-output on most GF4MX cards *reasonable*? This is only a cheap TV it's on, and it's for DVD+DivX and the *occasional* game when the nephews are over.

Mind you, not all GF4MX's use the same TV chip, do they? I don't know the brand name yet.... it's used and not in my posession.

I'd go ATI and be done with it were it not for the VERY tight budget I'm on and have to strongly consider every deal I can get.

my tv-out is real nice ^^ ~ then again i got mine used from some guy who paid 150 for it back in the day, so maybe manufactoers had more money to stick a better chip since profit margins were much greater (vs the ~30-40 dollars they cost these days)
