Quality 250GB SATA Drive

Dont have any positive advice but I do have to say something negative here.

=NOT= the WD Caviar SATA 250GB.

I bought two of these because they looked so good.
The first one died in a month.
The second in about 5 months.

AVOID THEM.

I would have to recommend the seagate 16 MB 250 GB SATA. Good quality and company. Seagates are well know for there quietness and performance. The 16MB cache will give it a good performance boost as well.

Hehe, I've had one for a month and another for five - no problems!

Heard there were serious problems with it and the ASUS A8N-SLI

Hmm Never heard about that. I have had great luck with Maxtor and also if I have a problem the send me a new drive overnight.
