Hoepfully they've just been waiting for 64-bit before a revamp. Qualcomm's typical work for and with the manufacturers, and integration work on their SoCs, does tend to come through as pretty polished phones, IME. It would be a shame if they didn't try to stay ahead of the curve with the CPU; because regardless of need (my dual Krait 200 far exceeds my needs, FI, inclduing browsing non-mobile websites just fine), marketing will make others leave them behind if they don't.Interested in what, if any uarch tweaks Qualcomm made this time around. Krait 300 to 400 brought very little, as far as Anand reported anyway - just L2 improvements and process implementation changes. It looks like they're getting more invested in GHz marketing which is slightly troubling.
