quakeworld question - any way to make cwgl brighter?

hey y'all

how can you make quakeworld - opengl brighter?
i've tried making it brighter through the console but its still really dark

i have a geforce2ultra card....

i know that if i run the game normal quakeworld game its brighter but it doesn't look as nice...

Use the handy video card utility called PowerStrip. You can find it at www.entechtaiwan.com.


After you've installed the shareware version, hold Ctrl and '+' or Ctrl and '-' to change the brightness (gamma) of the card. Just increase it when you're playing glqw.
