Found the link off HardOCP

PICS

ugh, the site is like anti-hotlinking or w/e... can't make direct links to pics stay.

wow? -fixed

EDIT: Uh, it isnt working anymore, you have to drag & drop now... 😕
EDIT2: Ok, n/m, I think's there a limit to how many views a non-registered member can get. (The direct access to the picture, I mean. Perhaps, non-hyperlinking code.)
EDIT3: It works now?! Err.. I see.. it has a limit to how many views a guest can get in a period of time... before anti-hyperlink takes place, then it goes back to normal.

Isn't CPL larger? I could be wrong.

These are two diff organizations and run completely differently. QuakeCon is an open tourny specific to Doom3, and Quake games. CPL is run more like a professional league where many teams/players can qualify at LAN tournys around the world. They also include diff games.

What happens to all the stuff after it's over? Well, if they don't get it stolen (like the notorious CxG), I guess the comapnies would take the stuff back since the event won't run for another year, and by then all that hardware will be outdated.

Tickets? You can usually register to play, or spectate events on the organizer's websites (quakecon.org, thecpl.com)

Nope. Id said they are working on a new title that is not related to any of their 3 franchises (quake, doom, wolfenstein). So who knows.... And Nvidia announced their Geforce 6600, basically a underclocked 6800 with SLI support. BTW, IM HERE NOW! anyone else here?

there is really no need to point out individuals. every single person in attendence of that event is a nerd, including the girls who were paid to appear.
