So I will be going to quakecon again this year, despite the increase in cost just for the BYOC. ($50 for the basic SAS package)

I will be hanging out with a bunch of online buddies from clan/games etc. Is anyone here going or thinking of going? I already have my seat selected for BYOC and there is like no chance of getting in that anymore, but the general event attendance is still free.
 
Went the last 2 years. Met 10-12 guys I played quake 2 LMCTF back in the day and that's all we did the last two times too.

Had a blast, been to a handful of other Qcon's(it's only 3 hours away which makes it cheap). However, with it being changed to July(it's been August every single year since I've been going) and the "new" price increases, I won't be going.

Sad, Qcon used to be a great thing compared to what it is now. The Gaylord vendor was the best ever until some fucking dipshits got us banned from it.
