Quake3 cdkey, howlong is it and where is it? (on the cd case?)
I have a copy of quake3, lets say i had a copy till i lost the cd, but i still have my case, on the back theres a sticker with a 16 character alphanumeric string, is this the key?

Hmm it dosent say cdkey, just a white label with a barcode on the top right corner and then below is the cdkey...hmm now to go borrow someones quake and see if it works...i hate quake..if it works ill trade someone for their hlkey ?!?!

For some reason I remember reading somewhere that id turned off the CD-Key checker for online games with Quake 3... I guess not? Maybe I misread it or something...

It wasnt on the cd case on my copy but on the booklet. But that was the linux version that came in the tin

Oh come on... seriously. You're looking for the CD Key... You check the case that the CD was in and find a sticker on it with an obviously generated string of letters and numbers. but anyways how the heck am i supposed to know if its the cdkey, ive seen games where they put the cdkey on a paper in the box, or since it had a barcode i thought it could be something else...anyways all i have is an empty cdcase, no covers just hte label on the back, so i was guessing that was it...thats why i said:
